Mortar stands proves a success instead of cycle stands for leaning stilts up against. Took him and his dad to circus area to calm down and have a go. At lunch retrieved one lad from 'behaviour room' to show off his unicycling skills to staff and pupils. Hands free stiltwalking so successful am lending 2 pairs of stilts trousers for their upcoming musical.
They still all had a great time and tried the 20p tightrope challenge and 20p thirty second hula hoop challenge.'Epic' is how one brownie described the evening. Reception & year 4 pupils enjoyed am & pm circus workshops. Year 4 classes started with toothbrush twirling in the morning and a 2 balll juggling trick in the afternoon. Tightrope, carousels, trampolines for toddlers, stilts and hula hoops added to the fun. Thursday 1st October - Woolaston Primary School, Netherend, Gloucestershire Circus Show for infants. Tuesday 29th September - Nyland Special School, Swindon, Wiltshire EBD school. Tightrope, stiltwalking, novelty carts & dressing up. Sunday 27th September - Circus Party, Coalville, Leicestershire 7 year old Lola had a great time. Girls enjoyed colouring in balloon models in second half of party. Saturday 29th August - Birmingham DA camping & caravanning club, Hogrills Lane End, Warwickshire Flat grass field on a pleasant afternnon was the backdrop for ~ 40 kids to enjoy themselves. Dry afternoon with novelty circus bikes most popular. Show went very well and much appreciated by parents. Staff couldn't quite believe my variety of equipment. Took a tour of corridor and dining room to delight of younger pupils. Dads enthusiastically joining in on circus bikes, plate spinning and diabolo. Stiltwalking with the aid of zimmer frames very popular. Autistic reception year pupil had a couple of sessions between classes and responded magnificently. Spitfire fly past, flower show, pony riding, ferret racing, street entertainer ... Wednesday 22nd July - Riverside Special School, Orpington Lovely lady in charge of this playscheme. Tuesday 21st July - Grampian Primary Academy, Derby Hall a bit small so carts and jack in the box table outside. Showed explained 2 little birds magic trick to TA's being interviewd!
